USGP Forum on BikeClicks.com Mercer Cup Volunteers Needed | Hi all,
We are seeking Volunteers to help us man the course crossings at the Mercer Cup next weekend. We need people for both Saturday and Sunday. This is a perfect job for: people who are coming to watch a friend or family member race; people who want to be involved in the event but maybe not feeling so much like racing or generally just folks who love racing and want to help out.
Send a pm if interested and I'll get you in touch with the right person. Cheers!
Joan

USGP Forum on BikeClicks.com RE: CRAFT USGP Gear | My apologies for the delay with your merchandise. What you heard was correct - CRAFT is shipping orders direct to all purchasers. When I became aware that you had not yet received anything I called them (yesterday) and was assured that ALL items were shipping to purchasers on November 4th. If you don't receive your items within a couple of days please PM me and I will call them again on your behalf. | | 11/5/2008 2:32:09 AM |

USGP Forum on BikeClicks.com CRAFT USGP Gear | I purchased some gear when I registered on line and have heard nothing since then about how to get it or when it is coming.
Registration had no idea about it as well as the folks in the Craft booth.
Anyone have a lead as to how we are supposed to get our hands on this.
Somebody has got to know something.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

USGP Forum on BikeClicks.com Food and Drink | | I heard that there was more food this year than last year and it was a welcome addition! The Cyclers' Cafe food was good and filling. I would suggest trying to get some breakfast foods in for those of us arriving at dawn. I did find the coffee on the second morning. Perhaps Heine Bros. would agree to make more hot beverages available and some muffins, pastries, etc? (Java Johnnys had a nice tasty setup at the Java Johnny sponsored OVCX race in Middletown, Ohio on 10/11/08.) And/or maybe Nancy's Bagels on Frankfort Ave would be willing to set up a stand with bagels, coffee, tea and soups - good foods for breakfast & lunch. Nancy is an avid supporter of local events and atheletic ventures so it might be a good partnership? | | 11/3/2008 9:26:53 AM |

USGP Forum on BikeClicks.com RE: Mercer Cup Flyover...... | | I talked with the guy who built last year at the after party for the Louisville USGP and he said that they were planning on making some changes. Hopefully I can make it up to check it out | | 10/31/2008 5:11:27 AM |

USGP Forum on BikeClicks.com Mercer Cup Flyover...... | | Hopefully the Flyover will have a "better" decent. Last years was to hard of a transition at the bottom. I know they tried to fix it, but it needs to have a smoother exit. My 2 cents. | | 10/31/2008 5:08:52 AM |

USGP Forum on BikeClicks.com Missing Wheels | I seem to be missing my wheels since Sunday's USGP Race (I just cleaned out all my gear). They are cheap wheels, black Felt hubs with black rims and Michelin Mud II Cyclocross tires.
I think I either left them in the pit or near my car (which was near the registration building) | | 10/30/2008 11:58:14 AM |
